TODAY: National Back to School DREAM Act Day of Action
Today – United We Dream hosts coordinated campaign events in cities across our nation in support of the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act. Over 100 actions have been organized by student groups, local, state and national organizations as part of the National Back to School DREAM Day of Action. These events highlighted the unfinished dreams of thousands of our nation’s youth and the need for passage of the DREAM Act, a bipartisan legislation that creates a path to legal status for undocumented students.
