b) In-state Tuition: No, currently there is no law which would allow for undocumented students to pay in-state tuition rates in this state.

c) Scholarship/Funding: Undocumented students are able to apply for private scholarships. Visit MALDEF for a list of scholarships that do not require proof of citizenship, legal residency, or a social security number.

The act states that South Carolina will not participate in implementation of the Real ID Act that would otherwise seek to define citizenship and alien status in the United States.
