Thank you for posting this. There are many of us out there, myself included, who have not been as successful as you Juan in turning our negative situation into a positive experience. Just before reading your post I was feeling all the frustration and sadness that are conjured up when people who don't know my undocumented status keep asking why such an accomplished person with a degree and all hasn't quit her min-wage job and moved up to better things (??). And just when I was about to let the helplessness that follows set in, I read your post. Isn't that funny how things are, bet you never thought how much your words of gratitude towards those special people in your life would touch a stranger.

Sincerely grateful.

Great write-up.

I remember being in Chicago last year April when Prerna got an email from you freaked out cause a police car drove by your house, and now you are on the phone with ABC doing interviews and scheduling appearances!

You have come a long way and DA is very lucky to have you!
