On Wednesday, June 17th at noon, the New York State Youth Leadership Council will announce its upcoming plan to organize 200 students/youth and educators from NY for a Dream Act Graduation in Washington DC students on June 23rd. Each year, more than 65,000 undocumented students graduate from high school, but because they lack immigration status, these students face uncertain futures.

With 500 students convening from all over the country, the June 23rd National Dream Act Graduation in Washington D.C. will feature speakers from Microsoft, the College Board and Congressional Representatives who advocate for the Dream Act.
