NEWS FLASH: TAHA RECEIVES DEFERRED ACTION!!!
We just got word that Taha was granted deferred action by DHS!
With days away from stepping foot in a plane that would have divided a mother and her son and robbed a young man from his DREAM, Taha instead gets to rip up that plane ticket and celebrate another victory for all the undocumented youth who work desperately to pass the DREAM Act.
We, at DREAMActivist, would like to thank ALL of you who stepped up and brought attention to this case in such a short period of time. This is another testament to our power as a movement! It’s known that after a two hour interview with immigration officials, he was granted deferred action and was asked to tell all of his supporters to stop flooding their office with faxes.
Our Response….Never! Until the deportation and detention of all DREAMERS is realized
Congratulations Taha and Thanks to ALL of You
Taha,18 years old from Jersey City, NJ. In November of 1993, his parents brought him to America from Bangladash, when he was only 2 years old. He has lived in Jersey City for more than 16 years.
