We are extremely disheartened to hear of the passing of two of our dear friends, activists and Dreamers, Tam Tran and Cinthya Felix. Our thoughts, prayers and wishes lie with their families and loved ones.
If you are in the UCLA area, we hope that you will attend a memorial service being held for them Monday. We shall certainly be there in spirit, if not in presence, to remember them and honor and commemorate their achievements, and to assure them that we shall never forget them.
We are determined to keep pushing on, to fight harder, and to dream with them forever in our hearts and minds.
With much love,
The DreamActivist Team.

Tam Tran, you will be always remembered. We love you and my prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. I will miss you. RIP
Cinthya — I just spent time with you and saw you two weeks ago, boarding the bus back to New York from DC. Unreal.
Tam — Your voicemail says "I'll call you back. I promise." I keep hoping you will. I will always love and cherish each moment I spent with you whether it was in DC, New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles. I <3 you.
My heart is broken to know that two great leaders and friends have gone away..Yet, their dreams and legacy will always live among us, DREAMERS! Much love to both families and friends… They were and will always be a gret motivation…
My thoughts and prayers are with Tam and Cynthia's families and friends. I am at a loss for words and completely saddened. Rest in peace, beautiful Tam and Cynthia. Your lives will forever be celebrated.
“Las Tres Muertes,” the three deaths. Ofelia Esparza says that in life we all go through three stages of death: the day we die, the day we are buried and the day we are forgotten. She said that the worst death a person could go through is dying and not being remembered for who they were and how they lived."
Then let's make sure that they don't die the third death.
I never knew Tam or Cinthya, but Tam's documentary pricked my conscience and started me on the road to where I am now; both of them will be missed deeply. The best way we can honor their memory is to take up the cause they worked for and pass humane, comprehensive, and just immigration reform – for them, their families, and the rest of our friends who are tired of waiting.
Cinthya and Tam – may you both rest in peace with the Lord. May he bless you for your Service on behalf of so many others. We pray for your family and friends and will miss you dearly.
I am so sorry for this heart wrenching tragedy, it is hard to believe that two such young, vibrant lives were cut so short. I had spoken to Tam not too long ago about organizing in Rhode Island and sending buses to Washington, DC for the rally in March….
I am praying for you Tam and Cinthya and your families, wishing I could have spent time with you while you were here. I wish there was something I could do to change this, that there was some way we could organize to change this reality but all I can offer is to continue your fight. To follow your example and to make sure others know about the legacy you have left us.
With much sadness and love.
Thank you Tam and Cinthya for how you've led and everything you've taught us in your brief, but moving lives. My best wishes to your friends and family in this time of grief.
