Well, seems like he is taking a “voluntary departure” instead, courtesy the hard work of Basta Dobbs and other campaigns to kick him out.

The source of this news was Brian Steller from the New York Times. Tonight was his last show and it seems he got canned, given his contract ran till 2011. We’ll let Dobbs give his teary farewell speech:

This is a great victory for promigrant advocates who have worked tirelessly and courageously to get Lou Dobbs off the air and managed to call CNN’s credibility into question, especially during the airing of Latinos in America.

Dobbs will probably end up on the Faux News Network or with his own hate radio show.
