		<description>The United States hasn&#039;t even signed the UN Convention on Rights of Children treaty so seeing them as a &#039;social group&#039; is well, some ways off for this country. You can relate this point to the DREAM Act.

heck we even jail our asylum seekers contrary to International law (Article 31 of the UN Refugee Convention).

Also, the Bush Admin has successfully appointed a number of immigration judges who are tough on asylum rules and hardly grant asylum. Where you live also drastically changes your chances of asylum.</description>
