Change.gov – Ask President-Elect Obama to Pass the DREAM Act

Undocumented students around the United States hailed the victory of Barack Obama on Tuesday night and now is the time to hold his administration accountable for the promises made on the campaign trail.

Remember, in a debate with Hillary Clinton, President-elect Barack Obama stated that the DREAM Act is something we could do “immediately.”

There are already 8,000 signatures collected by A DREAM Deferred calling on the new President to pass the DREAM Act within the first 100 days.

We would like all DREAMers and supporters to submit their opinion to President-Elect Obama on what to do with Immigration, namely passing the DREAM Act immediately / in 2009.
