Blogging at Change.org
October 14, 2009 in Jobs, Site Updates by Prerna Lal

I just wanted to say that I took on a new gig as an Immigration blogger at Change.org, which is a growing platform in progressive new media. As always, your support and input on how I can better the site would be much appreciated. I am blogging at least 6 times per week.
Change.org was started by Ben Rattray last year, who backed out of going to law school at New York University just two weeks before the semester started. According to him, it is the best decision he ever made. He currently lives in San Francisco, running Change.org from his laptop, literally. Ben has been incredibly supportive of the DREAM Act and really admires the work we do at DreamActivist.
I plan to continue the weekly ‘I am Undocumented’ features with DREAM Act students each Friday so if anyone here is interested in contributing, send it along! An example is here My Name is Ashley and I am Undocumented. Otherwise, that is one more immigration blog for you to follow regularly, which also allows you to take actions, find a job and make more friends.
I believe they are still looking for bloggers in some categories so if you are up for the task, go for it.
