I would strongly encourage our students to try and ‘map’ their own lives. How long have you been waiting-in-line? What problems have you undergone with the former INS and USCIS? At what points have you felt rejected by society, even trivial things like not being able to get a bank account, a student loan or scholarship, an internship, waking up at 4am to catch a bus to arrive at a destination at 1pm?

Our stories matter; our narratives should not be lost to history.
