Annual Letter on Advising Undocumented Applicants

I received this Annual Letter on Advising Undocumented Applicants 2010-11 in my inbox yesterday, which may help high school undocumented seniors with declaring county of citizenship and other residency questions on a University of California application form.

An undocumented student who has grown up in the United States with evidence and intent to stay in this country should fight tooth and nail for in-state residency classification. This is especially true with respect to classification at a private institution.

School officials are not ICE agents. In all cases, it is best to be proactive and contact admission officials, including the Dean, about your status and request help.
