I believe the ideals and values on which our nation was founded were to offer freedom and opportunity to the disenfranchised, to uphold the inalienable human rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to those who seek refuge here. I agree with United Negro College Fund motto, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." For this reason it is important that the youth in our nation, whose parents chose to bring them here when they were minors, deserve to be educated contributors to our country.
